How to Play Merge Pals
A run starts with two matching Tier 1 Pals highlighted on the main board. Combine those two first. The merge creates a stronger Pal, starts the battle and teaches the whole loop without requiring a long tutorial.
Merge and discover
Two equal tiers become one Pal at the next tier. First-time tiers trigger a New Pal Discovered presentation and fill another slot in the discovery panel, giving you a visible reason to chase the next merge.
Battle returns coins
The small battle area is feedback, not the main input. Your total board power attacks the current stage. Enemy defeats return coins, and those coins buy more Tier 1 Pals for the board.
Controls
- Tap/click: select a Pal, then select the same tier to merge.
- Empty cell: move the selected Pal to organize the board.
- Drag: move or merge directly on desktop.
- Buy Pal: spend coins to add a Tier 1 Pal when space is available.
